- Graduated from Wentworth Institute 1967 - ASEE
- Worked for Defense contractor in Nashua, NH with Top Secret clearance designing and producing electronic equipment to keep our forces safe.
- Joined the USAF - got stationed at Pease AFB in NH and never got re-assigned (lucky)
- Graduated from Northeastern U 1976 - BSIT
- Worked of various defense contractors as Quality engineer/manager/director assuring the high level of quality needed for military, aerospace and medical electronic equipment.

I have been on the Great Wall, in Beijing's Forbidden City, Shanghai, Macau, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Zuhai, Shenzhen (China), back to the Island where I was born (St Miguel, Azores), Israel, Northern Germany (Hamburg & Luebeck), Dubai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur & Penang (Malaysia), Bangalore & Mysore (India).
My American Society for Quality peers awarded me with the professional level of Fellow for my career achievements. Here are a few examples: I assured the quality and reliability of the GPS atomic clocks (equipment on the GPS satellites run off our atomic clocks), space environment monitors for the POES & GOES satellites (that provide data that NOAA uses to predict our weather patterns) and I was one of the original authors of the electronic workmanship standard utilized by electronic product manufacturers world-wide - it's published as an IPC Standard.
I retired from Draeger Medical, a design, development and manufacturing company of medical monitoring and IT products, on Dec 27, 2012.
Now, I am running a company that provides ISO QMS, EMS, OHSAS, ISMS, AS9000 auditing, certification and registration of other US companies that trade internationally. I also provide business improvement and quality management consultation to various companies.
Moved back to South Coast - to North Dartmouth in 2016.

My time at NBHS was great.
- Wonderful friends; ROTC (Sgt. Morrison, the firing range, the ROTC drills, Ft Drum and the visit to USMA in NY);
- riding in my 57 Chevy;
- picking up chics;
- cruising - downtown (Purchase St), north-end, southend, Acushnet, Fairhaven, etc.
Oh, and let's not forget the "Y" dances, Lincoln Park and the dunes at Horseneck, the beaches around the fort, Cape Cod and Newport, fishing off Padanaram Bridge.
Those were the days!
Almost forgot to get the grades that I would need to get to college, but I did it.
