Hey Ladies....Every year the girls in the Sr. class were given a cedar box (which I surmise was to represent a "hope chest") by a local furniture store...Mason's on Union St.  Mine has been in the top drawer of my dresser for so many years that I barely noticed it anymore until my high school memories came rushing back.  So ladies, do you  still have the cedar "hope chest"??

Yes, I have mine.  It came with me to Florida in 1968 and it is displayed on the shelf and special "treasures" are stored in it.  I remember the wonderful cedar scent it had way back then, and it still does. 

Yes, I do.  It's in the bottom drawer of my nightstand. 

Mine still sits on top of my bureau, full of I have no idea what.  I've collected so much junk in the last 45 years my kids are going to need 3 dumpsters to clean out this house. (I have no intention of doing it myself)
