Miss Castaldo:

Maria and I were high school sweethearts.  We both had Miss Castaldo for a study period.  My seat assignment was about 6 rows behind Maria's row.  However, at the start of each study hall with Miss Castaldo I would take the empty seat directly beside Maria.  Miss Castaldo would then tell me to go back to my seat.

The next time we had this study hall, I would again take the empty seat directly beside Maria, and again Miss Castaldo would send me back to my assigned seat.  This went on for weeks.  One day I came into study hall and finally sat in my assigned seat.  Miss Castaldo called me by name, and upon getting my attention told me to sit next to Maria.  I sat next to my sweetheart from that time until the end of the school year.

Thanks Miss Castaldo.  In July of this year, Maria and I have been married for fifty years.
