Several times during our reunion, I heard the question: "Where did the years go?" I also read it on posts on our website.
So, here is my quick answer.

we keep on asking and it's so perplexing.
Where did the years go,
They flew by, and I'll tell you so.
Graduation, moving away;
getting married one June day.
Wedding bliss,
fighting loneliness.
Missing family far away,
Some days glad and some so sad,
Back to school, to move ahead.
Day school, night school, moving on to graduate school.
College degrees, what great joys,
then I had two baby boys.
Civil rights, women's rights, gay rights
and sleepless nights.
Riding a buggy, NYC's Central Park
listening happily to Mozart.
PTA, Disney World, cross country,
and boy scout trips.
Buffett, Joel and Beatles, hurrah
Broadway plays and opera.
Keeping busy day and night,
trying to do what's really right...
UF college mom , oh wow!

Good- bye to Mom and Dad,
it was all so very sad,
Class reunion, 2010, back to NBHS again.
felt healthy and no pain,
and I work now and then,
Enjoying days in Florida sun,
now saying hi to everyone.
Where did the years go?
since graduation day, we need to know.
Forty- five trips around the sun
tell me now, where your time has gone.

some very fast, and some so slow.
