RE: fAVORITE CLASS Posted Saturday, June 5, 2010 02:05 PM My favorite class at N.B.H.S. was a U. S. History course with Mr. Nanopolous...He was a very nice man...My worse one was Algebra with Mr. Worden..A nice old man, but I just could not get algebra, he was kind enough to give me a D+. I still hate math... |

RE: FAVORITE CLASS Posted Tuesday, June 8, 2010 04:55 PM I guess that my favorite class while at NBHS would be Mr. Cembalisty's chemistry class. His enthusiasm for the subject matter helped to make a challenging subject enjoyable! |

RE: fAVORITE CLASS Posted Thursday, June 24, 2010 09:28 PM I liked school. I already wrote about all the teachers whom I still remember, I especially loved learning French and Portuguese . The teachers Miss Andrade and Mr. Felix were so dedicated and knowledgeable. I wanted to keep fluent in my native Portuguese language, so I took the classes and found out those teachers were so much more than people who delivered the curriculum. There are several posts about Mr. Felix in the forum discussion page. I researched Miss Andrade and was amazed! I switched to business courses and found out that I couldn't type to save my life. I'd practice on an old royal typewriter at home and barely could pass a typing test, but I can't say I hated those classes, just was scared to death. In balance, I loved the academic classes feared the business courses, but I did meet some wonderful kids there. To the teachers who aren't yet mentioned or listed: we haven't forgotten you and thanks. |
