Acushnet - Kenneth G. Monteiro, 74, passed away on April 9, 2021 at his home. Kenneth was born in New Bedford and was the son of Stella E. (Patisteas) Monteiro and the late Albert R. Monteiro.
Mr. Monteiro served his country honorably in the US Navy and the Army National Guard for many years and went on to hold a distinguished career as a police officer for the City of New Bedford, retiring in 1992 with the rank of Sergeant.
Mr. Monteiro is survived by his children, Scott K. Monteiro and his wife Katharine and their son William of South Burlington, VT and Kelly Monteiro of Brooksville, FL.
