I knew Bobby in Sarah D. Ottiwell Elementary School, Normandin Jr. High and NBHS. He had lots of friends, As a young boy, he lived across the street from the old Riverside Playground on Coffin Ave. He will be missed at the reunion. Bob passed away (age 61 yrs) on Jan. 10, 2010. (He would have been 62 years old on Jan. 29, 2010) Rest in Peace Bob.

Bobby Brodo was a friend to all who knwe him.

LOUDON -- Robert W. Brodo, 61, died Jan. 10, 2010, at Concord Hospital, Concord, after a brief courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in New Bedford, Mass., Jan. 29, 1948, a son of Stephan and Ruth (Benjamin) Brodo. He attended local schools there and graduated from New Bedford High School.

In 1993, he moved to Loudon. He was employed as a plant manager by Amatex Corp. in Laconia until his death.

He loved his family and grandchildren and working around his home. He was a great and well-liked guy and described by his children as 'the best dad anyone could ask for." He will be sorely missed.

Family members include his wife of 43 years, Christine D. (Correia) Brodo of Loudon; one son, Wayne R. Brodo of Plymouth, Mass.; one daughter, Kelsy M. Cunha of Hooksett; two brothers, Stephen Brodo of Dartmouth, Mass. and Kevin Brodo of Fairhaven, Mass.; four sisters, Karen Moran of New Bedford, Mass., Gail Couture of Dartmouth, Mass., Debbie Hartzell of Fairhaven, Mass. and Stacy Jones of Acushnet, Mass; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main St., Concord. A funeral service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Payson Center for Cancer Medicine, c/o Concord Hospital, 250 Pleasant St., Concord NH  03301
