Went to SMTI, graduated from SMU {aka UMass Dartmouth] in 1969, with a degree in Medical Technology. I worked at Childrens Hospital in the Rheumatic Fever Unit for 3 years. I then went to work at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital for 4 years in the Hematology Dept. I left when my son was born. I then did a few part time lab jobs until I found work at General Medical Ass. in Weston. I worked there on weekends, and as a fill in for anyone out sick or on vacation for about 13 years. Unfortunately I developed MS and was no longer able to work. I am now getting around with a walker for short distances, and a Rascal mobile cart for anything longer.
