I have practiced law since forever, concentrating on real estate, business, litigation and estate planning. Jan and I live on an 8 acre former cattle pasture on the way to Horseneck Beach. We have created gardens there combining most veggies with flowers. We have a farm stand and sell heirloom tomatoes plants,tomatoes and dahlias there and to restaurants for charity. I also sell commercial and residential real estate law. I have done some other things over the years in for our synagogue, the DNRT, the YMCA and the Ocean Explorium. Jan is an exec for the Department of Mental Health, an extremely challenging role these days of budget constraints. Dave and his wife Kate are in Fairfax,Virginia. Dave works for Gannett Publishing (USA TODAY, etc) developing technology. Kate is an attorney and is beginning a Ph.D program in Criminal Justice in September. She resigned as a Captain in the Marines (JAG) to care for our two granddaughters, Eden Grace and Sierra Faith (5 and 3)who bring great joy to our lives. ("Zade, everyone in the world knows how much you love us!") Samantha received degrees at Brandeis and the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Studies at U of Miami. She and Enrique are getting married next year. They met diving in the Giant Ocean Tank at the New England Aquarium. They went to graduate school together and now live in San Diego. He is a specialist in marine aquaculture. Sam is looking for a job in her field, marine policy. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!

I knew Paul and his great family most of my life. Lots of great memories from Camp Sea Space where his dad taught us woodworking (whale models) and his brother taught us sailing. (He had his own fine sailboat). I recall his mom as well. Such a fine family and Paul was right there shining bright. Great athlete, very competitive and able.I am sorry that his later years were painful. Rest in peace Paul.

Marsha was a fine lady. I knew her from way before NBHS. And when I came back to NB in 1979, she was our insurance agent's go to person, office manager. Smart, very professional, kind, understanding and intelligent. My condolences to her family.

Very sorry to hear that Bill has passed. I have know Bill since elementary school (Betsy B).

Great guy. Lots of positive energy and great sense of humor. Saw him recently and he was even more engaging! My condolences to his family and his many friends.

A bright and shining light. I will always remember her smile, energy, great clothes, doting overprotective parents, the White Thunderbird waiting to take her home, a friendly colleague and a romance the waves of which spanned a lifetime. LIght up heaven the Heavens Jane Carvahlo, you have done your part here on earth!
