May she Rest In Peace.  I remember as a good friend and a great soprano singer in the choir.

Susan was a classmate from grammar school through high school.  A true childhood friend.  So many memories ... She always had a beautiful smile ... May she be comfortably at rest and at peace.

Susan had the knack of spreading sunshine with her smile and sense of humor.  I remember mornings riding to NBHS in my dad's '39 Buick with Susan and David. She had such great school spirit and warmth. I'm thankful that we got together with other classmates a few years ago. RIP, Susan.

Sue was a southender, a truly gifted singer, such a sweet girl always a sweet smile, a personality beyond measure; rest in JESUS'S LOVE ALWAYS

I remember our 1st day at Roosevelt.  She stood out in the class with that big smile of hers & her sense of humor.  I remember one of our English teachers gave us a homework assignment to write about the most difficult thing we had to do.  Sue got to read hers 1st -Her topic was "Get up in the morning"  I still smile when I think of her.  Rest in Peace, Susan

Not a usual contributor but seeing an old friend passing and reading from other old friends (and southenders), I couldn’t let this pass. As you all know Susan was a class act and I am sad that I hadn’t thought of her more often until now. Likewise Charlene and so many more. Our choices are few; bury our friends and family, or be buried by them. While new friends are silver, old friends are gold. It’s ok to enjoy the silver as long as we remember the gold. Brief shout out to Chuckie, seeing your note spurred me to comment.

I was saddened to hear of Sue's passing.  Although we were not "hang around friends" no matter when we passed each other, there was alway a big smile and hi from her!  May her memory be eternal.

I only knew Sue from high school but she made an impression exampled by her classbook note. We talked quite a bit about life and I am sorry to have drifted apart. I hope she lived the life she dreamed of.
