Classmates:

The item below appeared on Facebook and since some of you are not on Facebook, we thought we'd include it here as a tribute to Boston.  Enjoy!

Amelia Leontire shared Joe Lamothe's status update.
Ten things the world learned about Boston this week 1. We will take a kid, whose name we can’t pronounce, from some town ... in Russia, we never heard of, give him a world class public education for free, never ask him about his religion, and elect him captain of ... the wrestling team. 2. We have a mayor who can’t wal...k and whom you can’t understand, but we like anyway and we’d elect again if he ran. (for those of you who don't know Mayor Manino -his nickname is "Mumbles") 3. We have cops that do not flinch when they have bombs thrown at them. 4. We will run 26.2 miles for fun, and then another mile to get to a hospital to donate blood. 5. We have the smartest young people from around the world who are here getting an education and we have the bravest young people from around Boston keeping them safe. 6. We only get two months a year to use our boats so we keep them in our yards wrapped in plastic and we notice when someone messes with them. 7. We will allow the playing of our “Sweet Caroline” in Yankee Stadium, but just this once. 8. We have the best doctors and nurses in the world and they will save the lives of people critically injured by a terrorist’s bomb and then four days later, save the life of the terrorist. 9. We will shut down our transit system, our schools, our businesses, the whole state, we mean everything, to find someone who tries to hurt the people here. 10. We don’t become terrorized, we just get wicked pissed.
<<<<<<<<<   Love you, Boston!
