We've lost one of our teachers

Judith Bolton
Judith (Mahon) Bolton, 77, of Dartmouth, died February 2, 2014,                                at St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness.

She was the wife of the late Richard A. Bolton.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late attorney Frank W. and                          Dr. Florence L. (Collins) Mahon, she lived in Dartmouth most of her life.

Judy was a graduate of Holy Family High School, class of 1954,                             and received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Bridgewater State College.

She taught English for 12 years and was a guidance counselor for 24 years               at New Bedford High School. Judy helped countless youngsters during her career.

Survivors include two sons, Richard A. and his wife Cathleen, of Trumbull, Conn.,      and Russell A. of Dartmouth; one sister, Lois Beedy of Manchester, ME;                 two granddaughters, Jennifer and Elizabeth of Trumbull and her special grandsons,    Ian and Luke Mandly, and their parents Kathleen and James Mandly of New Bedford; Judith was also the favorite aunt of Florence Baiocchi, Ann Marie Milazzo and Michael Milazzo; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
