Hi Classmates:

On May 31, 2013, I sold my daycare,Knee High Day Nursery, after 31 years and hundreds of faces going through the doors. The center was accredited for the last 16 years. My long term staff who stayed with me til the end had been with me as long as nine to twenty-five years. It was an interesting ride, but I was ready to retire. I am certainly more relaxed now, and as busy as ever. My first order of business was to fly my family down to Disney for a week. When that was done, I spent time each week doing special things with my two grandsons, Jamil (14 yrs.) and Gavin (9 yrs.) Now that school has restarted, I am mulling over which volunteering opportunities to try. And, of course, I see my good friends Carol, Linda, and Fran a couple of times a week. Then, there's always the many projects to do around the house. The way I look at it, I've added five days to my weekend! Retired and Admired!
