BOLO DE LO (Portuguese Sponge Cake)

Bolo de Lo
 
(Portuguese Spongue Cake)
 
2 - Cups of sugar
    1 - tsp  Milk
12 - eggs Separated
1 - tsp baking powder
1 - tsp lemon
1 - pinch salt
 
Directions:
Separate egg whites and yolks into two small bowls
Beat egg whites till stiff.
Mix 12 egg yolks, sugar, baking powder, salt, lemon and milk.
Add egg whites to yolks. Mix slow speed.
Add flour a little a time.
Mix slowly until batter is smooth..
 
Bake at 350 - 1 hour in Greased Bunt Cake Pan
