ANNOUNCEMENTS

Just a note for all of us!!

"Forever Young" by Bob Dylan

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

MAY WE STAY FOREVER YOUNG!
SEE YOU IN 5 YEARS AT THE 50th!

OH, WHAT A REUNION NIGHT!     (submitted by Maria Gulla)

(sung to the tune of Oh, What a night!
With apologies to ( The Four Seasons)
especialy BOB GAUDIO
and JUDY PARKER
*********************
Oh, what a night
an August evening in 2010
will I ever feel the same again
As I remember what a night!

Oh, what a night
some did not even know my name
but they smiled just the same
what a party, what a night!

Oh I, I felt giddy walking in the room
and then dancing to an oldies tune
Yeah my,didn't our youth end much too soon.
But now who cares, what a night!

Oh, what a night
Hypnotizin', mesmerizing me
the party was all I hoped it would be
so much fun, t'was our reunion night.

Couldn't believe the day was finaly here
the planners worked hard all year
spinning ideas to plan for fun
Oh what a night for everyone.

Oh what a night, why'd it take so long to see the light
but Nancy said it was about lifelines
not pounds or facial lines
What a lady, what a night!

Oh, I felt a rush like a rollin' ball of thunder
the music was playing, so it was no wonder
and we danced till the DJ said good night
Oh what a party, oh what a night

Oh what a night, the first NBHS reunion of my life
felt like a girl, not a married wife, oh what laughter
Oh what a night Oh what a night
(do do do do do, do do do do do)

oh, what a night, though the world's changed since 1965
we are all glad to be alive
thanks for making it good for me
and I won't forget our special night....
(la, la, la, la, la, la, la)

It was my class reunion, and all through the house.

I checked in each mirror and begged my poor spouse

To say I looked great, that my chin wasn't double.

And he lied through false teeth, just to stay out of trouble.

Said that 'neath my thick glasses, my eyes hadn't changed,

And I had the same figure, it was just a mite rearranged.

He said my skin was still silky, although looser n drape,

Not so much like smooth satin, but more like silk crepe.

I swallowed his words hook, sinker and line

And entered the banquet feeling just fine.

Somehow I'd expected my classmates to stay

As young as they were on that long-ago day

We'd hugged farewell hugs. But like me, though the years,

They'd added gray to their hair, or pounds to their rears.

But as we shared a few memories and retold some class jokes,

We were eighteen in spirit, though we looked like our folks.

We turned up hearing aids volumes and dimmed down the light,

Roled back the years, and were young for the night........

Just thought those of you who went to Keith Junior High School may enjoy going to the following on facebook: RIP-Keith-Junior-High-School-1957-2007.

The Keith site is lots of fun, and since all three junior high schools have been torn down, one of you may want to start a site for Normandin or Roosevelt!

They have started posting picures of the old school and students who have attended. The first to be posted are of course....... our classmates!

Enjoy!
